There are TONS of folks that run AND TREE bears with gascon type hounds. I use my gascons on coon mainly but also use them on bear and hogs. They do just fine! :D
They got plenty of nose and depending on what type of dogs the others you hunt with have...your gascon might be the only dog on the ...
