Re: Nonresident oregon furbearers!
The reason this came up is a buddy of mine had cats get taken from his home a few weeks ago by Washington fish and game. They stopped and seen his cats with a transport tag on them. He was waiting until the end of season to seal the total cats altogether. Like most hunters I think. The game officer ...

Re: Nonresident oregon furbearers!
Most of us hunters who come from out of state to hunt, hunt on weekends and times that the fish&wildlife office is closed. This limits a nonresident hunter, coming from a neighboring state, or any state, to only harvesting and sealing a bobcat during business hours. Five days prior to end of season ...

Re: Cobolt bred blues
I've hunted with cobalts hounds and owned a few. They are the real deal. In my opinion I would definently buy another when I get the chance. I try to run mainly bobcat which they havnt had problem with and they excel on bear from what I've seen. Very happy with the dogs

Re: help on bobcat stretching
It can become freezer burnt in a way if flesh exposed. Which would lead to hair falling out. I myself would just thaw out and flip around then roll up again and stuff er back in freezer

Yeah I think I've read about them coming into the state but crazy ! Hope they don't end up bad here in wa. Yet they have planted six packs here or planning on it soon if not yet. I'll avoid that area now

Re: wolves in Utah
I was hunting in central Oregon and cut where a pack had crossed road recently! What the shit. I didn't believe it at first but an old timer from Montana was with me and he was horrified. Said came from Montana to get away from them bastards. The next morning coming up the road we unloaded dogs to ...

Re: Dog Box insulation.
I have an aluminum box for pulling behind my sled and all I use for warmth is pine or cedar shavings. I just fill it as full as possible and the dogs always seem happy to get in after a long run in that deep snow

Re: Do Cameron bred dogs make good Bobcat Dogs
I've had luck with a couple of my camerons. I've noticed though while hunting dry ground they are extremely persistant on following the track itself. Don't get me wrong. I most of my cats have been treed with camerons. Just have seen with mine that they don't listen to other dogs as much and ...

I've had best luck with tri tronics. There are other brands that probably work but the warranty and product tri tronics offers in my opinion can't be beat.
