Re: There is no snort to it!!!!
Beardogger, why would you decide to throw a grenade into this post? I’m sure you are so bobcat savvy you would be able to sex out a cat from high on a limb? You know how many hound rigs, I have seen with sow bears (barely legal from falling into the cub class) parading it proudly down the highway ...

Re: There is no sport to it!!!!
Bobcat TRAPPING and SNARING, I have always been against it but have never said alot because I always figured they have as much right to be out there as the houndsmen. But after hearing a couple stories of a local want to be houndsmen, turned trapper has been crowding my private hunting area and ...

Re: There is no sport to it!!!!
Andy i doubt i would be impressed i already am not impressed with your first post of putting all trappers in the same bucket together. I believe trapping is a herritage that needs to be kept as well as hound hunting . I like both i also realize there is bad guys in both areas as well as good. Also ...

Re: There is no sport to it!!!!
Ive never liked snares however leg hold traps i think are fine. We need to be careful throwing all trappers into one group together its like seeing a picture of a lion kitten that someone harvested with dogs and saying all hound men are the same we all know that everyone has there own set of ...

Re: Bear Aversion Dogs
I have some cowdogs 3/4 heeler, 1/4 border collie. I use them as drive dogs, for moving cattle from pasture to pasture. The pastures are 12 to 17 sections. One section equals 640 acres. These dogs are extremely tuff, and obedient. We move cattle over 90 sections in one annual year. Now, I'm going to ...
