Had a walker that did just that before idk if you have a Harmon or not but my female would look for hot coon if she couldn't find one she would either take off for a mile or better or run the edge of the woods for miles and come it turned out to be coyote. Also, the more you exercise the hound, hunt it, run it, etc. the less need it will have to bark. Barking is generally their way of beating off boredom.

Well ain't from the high praire but I have been called a nut job lol nice to meet you hope u do well with ur blu hounds (im partial to blue dogs) I haven't met a guy yet that wasn't hooked after his first hunt so I'm sure ull be like the rest of us
