Re: COON HUNT
I would becareful of what videos you post for the public to see, videos have been one of the biggest tools used against houndsmen when they fall into the wrong hands, it took twelve or thirteen minutes for your pups to kill that coon I gaurentee that a anti houndsmen will have fun with that one at ...

Re: need pup training help (first hound)
208trapper,
I saw your intro and if i calculated right your dog is only about six months old, keep this in mind. Give him some time to mature and keep getting a good handle on him. One of the best ways to start a pup is with an older dog ,but not everone has one or can aford one. If you can find ...

Re: how to start 3 young blueticks correctly?
I might ad one more thought, even if you get all your pups started it will be a year minimum before they will start catching you game and more like two or three. And nothing is more frusterating than being a begining houndsmen spending alot of money and time and not beable to catch game on a regular ...

But am thinking about getting a gps just for security and to save some time, something that is quick and easy to use. keep in mind I dont really need one and dont want to spent alot of money ...

cut dogs?
I have a mature dog intact that thinks he has to piss on everything, I was wondering if I had him cut if it would help with that or being that he is older if it would still be just a habit. Also wondering what some of your thoughts on cut dogs vs intact is I know you hear people say that it makes ...

I have a couple old spayed fat females that would eat as much as you put infront of them, switched to blackgold ...

Wondering if there were any eastern washington coon hunters (Spokane, cheney, moses lake, or close to) I was wondering how much luck you have with number of coons you catch in a season if there are quite a few or if they are few and far between. I am possibly thinking of buying a hound and just ...

Well started or older dog?
I live in eastern Washington, dont have great coon hunting but I have found a couple good spots. I am looking to buy a dog in the near future wondering if it would be better to buy a older broke dog or a younger started one. I think there is enough coons for a dog that can find them. Also what ...
