Re: Weldon Hopman
Weldon got his start with pups bred by Benny and Roger Holland. These were old school White Cloud and hounds that caught my interest long ago. Weldon bought four pups from Roger out of WC King and a hound called Star bred by Kevin in Idaho( Keeping his last name private) Kevin hunted with Roger and ...

I want to say and add, possibly shed a little light on what your doing and at some point in time down the road, you will be appreciated and even possibly rew...

Re: Selling dogs
That is why it is so important that people come hunt with dogs they are looking to buy or do their home work and check the breeder or hunter to see how how they or he hunts and what to expect. Each to their own. Dewey This was my vision on selling out after forty plus years of hound hunting. I was ...

Resignation
I want to pass along some information. Officially as of 3/27/17 I have made a decision to step down as President of Fern Ridge Tree Hound Club. It's easier to post on here to get the word out, since I have many friends all across the State calling over hound related issues-legislative issues and eve...

Re: Oregon and California
Charlie Hope everything is going well for you! How hard would it be to level the playing field in Oregon and California? When you have management solutions in both State's, and they do! You are no longer needed! When you are able to eat from the variety pack and have sport hunters funding their own ...

Oregon and California
In a recent bobcat hunting article by OOC President Dominic Aiello, Oregon Legislator David Gomberg decided it was a good idea to tell all the hunters and anglers in his district how he feels about their lifestyle. Apparently, he questions the sanity of any Oregonian who hunts or fishes, as hundreds...

Re: Serious Question!
LOL! If you could smell the track you would not need a dog.! Seriously that happens a lot.when Clyde Miller and Dale Lee were at the BBCHA fall round up years ago, they had a lively discussion going concerning that very thing. no amount of reason why it happens. Dale( and Clell for that matter) bot...

Re: International Bobcat Contest
Timothy You are the winner for January with the only entered bobcat for the month. I will cut you a check asap! Thanks for the interest! It kept pictures of bobcats posted from this winter. Given this competition hadn't generated much interest and the fact I hung up my leashes, paid entries for the ...

Re: New proposed AZ lion/bobcat law
Y'all need a ballot initiative started and instead of working dogs for a year spend your time and money working the constituents to make the constitutional amendment that ALL hunting trapping and fishing is a constitutional right in Arizona... Re: New proposed AZ lion/bobcat law
Does Arizona have a "Hunting, Fishing, Trapping" amendment in the state constitution? If so, that may help knock this bill out before it even gets started. If not though, once this legislation is defeated, that is something Arizona Sportsmen should go after. I am not sure what I could do ...

Re: New proposed AZ lion/bobcat law
Time has it's way of bringing out useful information. Mark is spot on. We been down this road for decades here in Oregon. One definite thing that remains constant, even as liberal as Oregon and California States both are, WILDLIFE WILL BE MANAGED, ONE WAY OR ANOTHER! 100% of both House and Senate vo...
