This was just posted on a facebook hunting site. Cut and pasted the following:
"Does anyone know of anybody that is or has run hound dogs down on the Gila River near Palo Verde? Either someone is missing about 6 hounds or they are feral, they were not friendly when approached but just wanted to check first to see anyone was missing hounds."
"When we walked towards them they ran towards us pissed and barking so I had to get my gf back in the truck so did not see any collars."

Re: 6 plus black and tan in Arizona
Tom,
Were these traditional type black and tans or more high tan cross looking hounds?
The reason I ask I have a friend who hunts some of that country but I didn't think he was that far south. He usually camp hunts, and he runs a lot of the little saddle back and high tan type dogs.
I will try to drop him a text and see if he responds.

You got me. I just cut and pasted that from another site. In the hopes someone would know something. Seems strange that someone is not looking for them, unless they were let loose on purpose.
