I am wanting to get some red ticks for bear and bobcat and i was hoping that some of you guys would know what lines i should look at and some breeders too?

Tod ,some local guys had some redticks from Bertin Oney(Ohio?) that they caught big and small game with.

I have heard a lot of good about Oney but i cant find him online .Do you know how to get a hold of him or his blood lines? I heard the lightfoot was some of his blood do you know any other lines of his? thanks for your help.

Berton sold his kennels but think he was still breeding some.You might check the magazines,Full Cry and American Cooner.Look in the ad section to .I had forgotten about the Lightfoot dogs.A man named Myers (?) was breeding them in Idaho . I'm sorry but my memory sucks !

Bert Oney passed away last week at the age of 91.
