Has anyone ever had problems running both on a dog. I have one dc30 and the rest of my collars are Johnson and wildlife.

Last year I double collared all of my dogs during bear season and didn't have any problems at all. I think most guys are getting away from using both as they get more experience with the Garmins and they are having fewer problems with Garmin issues. Another thing to consider is whether your dogs stick together, and if they do stick together, will they back track themselves out. Another thing to consider is how remote the country you hunt really is and how long could the dog be lost. I say after you have considered these factors and if you feel safer for the dog with double collars on them, then do it. After you have tried it and then if you change your mind you are not out of anything. Good hunting.
