My New Camron Pup at almost 4 mo old

Postby luvdemhounds71 » Tue Jul 30, 2013 12:11 pm

Here is my CCB pup at nearly 4 mo old. He is my first bluetick and first treeing dog that I have ever owned for that matter. I have been working with him on coon and he has been doing excellent so . I am very happy with him at this point.

Thanks guys, I have been talking with Steve Phipps and he is helping me get "Hank" on the right track. He is a baying machine and I love to watch and hear him hammer on the coon. I can say one thing for sure Steve sure knows his dogs. He tells me what to do and how the pup will react and so far he has been 100% dead on. It's like someone telling you all about a movie and then goung to see it and is exactly how they described it! I can't wait to see the next phase.

He is doing awesome. I've been doing drags with him and he does really good but I want to get him out to the woods now and see how he does walking him on the edge of some cornfields. He was great on the 2 caged coon I showed him he has a lot of gritt.

I been reading some of your guys posts on here about these CCB dogs and how great they are when they a little older. Well my dog will be 1yr old on march 28th and is doing a phenomenal job so far that I cant wait to see what he will do in the future. I'm so happy with him and what he doing at such a young age. Sometimes he makes mistakes but that's when I have to remind myself that is still a puppy. He is my first treeing dog that I owned and trained and I think I got spoiled with how easy he made it. My other dogs are running walkers and they are great dogs as well.
