March 20, 21 & 22 at the Whitney Ranch in Elk Creek California
Heats start on Friday at about 2:00 we will run until about 6:00 then run the first bear race.
Saturday we will start taking entrees at 8:00 and start running dogs by 9:00.
We will have the second bear race after the heats on Saturday evening if you run your dog in Friday's bear race you cannot run that dog in Saturday's bear race.
Sunday we will take re-entrees at 8:00 and start running at 9:00, all dogs entered on Friday or Saturday and Sunday's re-entrees will be placed in a finale if they don't get in the winners finale they will qualify for the consolation finale when you enter into the re-entrees you have to let the booth know you would like to enter the consolation finale ( there is no charge to run in the consolation finale)
Good concessions onsite and will be open on Friday for dinner, plenty of camp sites there is water onsite, the grounds open Thursday, there are several bass ponds for fishing NO KIDS ALLOWED FISHING WITHOUT AN ADULT, quads are only allowed for special needs (old/injured)
This race moves pretty fast due to the amount of dogs entered (last year we ran 336 dogs counting the Field Trial/ Field Trial re-entrees, puppy race and 2 bear race's) so please have your dogs at the booth for their race or they will be scratched.
I will post more details as we get closer.
