cougar track?

seen this track on the trap line and it looks like a cougar track to me,but i havent ever seen a cougar track before but some people are saying they are starting to see them.not the best picture but there are no claw prints on any of the track like a wolf would have.what do you think?

Looks like a lynx to me cougar should leave a cleaner track normally if your not sure its a cougar it probably is not.

Goon? May be right. Last I knew Lynx is a cat. I'm not sure if track is in melted out snow or in sand. I assumed melted snow. Why track isn't clear. I'm not a Lynx guy but all I've seen they have smaller toes than lions. Those look like pretty good sized toes to me. Snow isn't deep enough there for a Lynx to have to spread toes that much. I don't understand the need to call names. A guy asked a question, posted a photo and not a lot of data. Guys state an opinion just to have conversations. Now we're Goons? Shaking my head.

I would say lynx as well, Ontario is filled with Lynx.
