How do you judge yalls dogs speed?

I would like to hear some ways others judge a dog. Thank you. Always looking for things to learn.

You can link your collars up to the computer and it will show in real time the speed the dogs are running throughout the whole race. You can see how fast they trail, how fat the run at the jump, when the bay up.
I haven't done it on any of the new equipment, but it was sure an I opener when I realised my fater dogs were running at 24 m/hr after the jump. My slowest dogs where down around 19-20. When you are breeding for speed, it sure was an eye opener.
I will check out this newest cross when the time comes, I think I have the fastest crew yet.

These thickets around here and swamps I'm hunting I get about 11 -14mph out of my younger hounds. And that's booking it in fairly open woods. Thick thick junk I'm getting about 6-8 in bad cutovers. We in totally different terrain. My puppies tend to turn it on after a mile of running or 2 they will be really bearing down on a hog he will be stretched out running if he ain't caught.
