Re: New dog box
Very nice. I am in the process of building one very similar for my Tacoma. You don't think that diamond plate on top is going to be too slick when wet? And hot in the summer?

Great job.
That is the first time I have seen a gated rigging crib. Looks baby safe to me. I wonder if kids could be taught to rig cats if you start them early enough.
I think you might need to start with pre-natal exercises by having the pregnant wife ride up there. Remember, don't let her down on a strike until she barks.
I remember the first time I saw rigging rails.
Back in the old days dogs had to balance themselves on top of the dog box or hood, and/or the roof. And they liked it. Lol
Just start making them Hawk. They will sell themselves.

Re: New dog box
Haha yes I think diamond plate may get too hot I just plan on putting a rubber mat up there. I had extra diamond plate so if figure I'd atleast use it. My cost was about 500$ in materials, $250 in shop supplies( welder gas, rivets, electricity, etc) and labor was looking to be about 1200-1400. But knew the guy and he cut me a break we had about 60-70 hours all together
