Coon hound catahoula mix

I have a hound that needs space to be a hound. He stayed with me when my husbands unit deployed. He cannot go back home. He has been trained as a family pet but the hound nature can’t be trained out. He likes to hunt furry things. However, being in the suburbs he’s limited to my neighbors little dogs and cats. (No kills so far) He’s fine with dogs his size.
His previous owner said he got a fox among other wild critters..
I’m looking for advice and possibly finding a new home for him. I have looked into many other resources without luck. I hope this post will help me out.
