Cody, Wyoming

Postby Big Horn Posse » Sun Jul 01, 2012 6:55 pm

I moved to the North Fork a month and a half ago and am really lonely and homesick for the Big Horns. Things are not as I expected here with work so I am a bit down. I know a small number of people here in Cody, but work 64 hours a week so it is hard to meet new people and make friends. It would be nice to meet some hound people in the area that I have something in common with. I have been hiking quite a bit with the hounds before work and on my day off on Saturday, but have not run into any hound guys doing the same. If there is anyone in the Cody area that would want to hang out and maybe do some hiking, riding, or fishing that would be great. My dogs would be happy to have some new buddies as well.

PM me and maybe you can catch a day to go cooning with us or come over!! We don't hike much up the North Fork during the summer.... tourists, grizz, wolves, traffic.. oh did I mention tourists!! We coon on a friends farm and start legging up the dogs later in Sept. on the BLM behind our house for lion season.

Sweet, I have run into a few grizz, no wolves "yet" but have seen sign. As far as tourists go I have found that they don't hike the back country. lol I live in a cabin at Crossed Sabres Ranch so I am 8 miles outside of Yellowstone. I would love to go run some coon. I have a young dog that needs it big time!! My cell phone doesn't work up here so I will PM you the number to the lodge. I get into Cody about 2 times a month to get supplies and check my phone messages. :)
