Well I take a little offense to that, but oh well, right? I have worked my ass off the last few years, e-mails, phone calls and going to meetings, so I may not belong to a club on the Westside of the state, but I haven't just been bitching and moaning. If you have information, how about passing it along, isn't that one of the things this forum is for? Thanks
P.S. You know any "clubs" within 100 miles?

We have started a political hound club here in SW Washington, we are strirring the pot to see how is willing to help are who is just going to sit and whine. It seems like a lot of council members don't care to much about our big game hunting, but a lot of private guys care. One guy can't change anything, but a group can get some where. The Lower Columbia Sportsman Alliance needs everyones help. WE have changes coming next year to our cougar hunting. LCSA is there we already have a meeting with DFW about the changes and what we as sportsman and houndman want. But we can't fight this battle alone and with our own money. Piglet posted a blog about these changes, LCSA has reacted and our voice will be heard in the very near future.

Hmmm not sure about your strategy to slam on potential allies and possible helpers, but good luck to you fellas. I'll keep the rest of my thoughts to myself.

Have no idea who you think I slammed. If you think I slammed the council, what I should have said was that atthe council meeting no one seemed to respond or have much input, I have asked the clubs to get back to me and set up a deligate to meet with us and the DFW. One has done so and nothing has gotten posted on their web site. LCSA is a hound council member. LCSA is looking for people who want to make a change. I beleive that the older generation says it will never be like it was, this is so very true. And the younger generation, which is what a lot of the clubs are made of, never knew it any different. It was this way when they started. The generation X has seen what it was, wants something back and knows it will never be like it was when dad first started chasing hounds. Sorry if you took it wrong.

You have got to be kidding me. With the potencial progress with the state that we may be having, and the clubs aren't jumping to help out. How hard is it to send a deligate with your clubs important questions? This is for everyones benifit, not just a select few! If they are willing to hear us out, this may be our only chance people! We all need to keep our crap together and quit argueing between ourselves, that is what the powers at be want! This has been one of the hugest problems within our sport for ever. This isn't for a select few to fight and decide. We have a whole state full of houndsmen and they all need to step up to be heard. The LCSA has made some huge steps forward in a short time, Way to go guys. This could be a stepping stone for the future, let's not screw this up!!! Keep up the good fight catdog360 some of us have your back!

seems like to me not alot of people dont care, like they would much rather sit back and let some one else take the fight, and if nothing happens they all wine and wonder where our hunting is going. catdog give me call when you get chance i need to talk to you about a few things.

If the people of this country don't start standing up and fighting for the things they want, this country that we once knew will be no more. That means hunting, fishing, gun rights and etc. Its coming sooner than later. For the people that think that will never happen in this country, you better start taking a stand. If there's anything that I can do to help call me and I'll do what I can to help out. Darren Hagins 509-366-0165 SE Washington.
