You guys had a hound club but it folded for lack of support. But I believe the interest is coming back in this state and I vow to make a difference with Lower Columbia Sportsman. We are a hound council club, and members of Washingtonians 4 Wildlife. If you need help starting a club give me a shout. If you want to be heard through the Sportsman's Alliance you can join us. I am going to push the hound council to elect deligates in the different regions of the state so we can get more input from the whole state. The deligates would contact all the sportsman in their region that they can to get input and then relay the message back to us so we know how to represent every houndsman state wide.

We need some people to show up in Olympia this weekend to give comments on the cougar

If you can take a couple hours out of your day saturday to help out it would be appreciated.

Cougar Plan is on the agenda for this Saturday at 1:30pm at the olympia office.

We are coming to the end of the pilot program and if we are not represented to show that this program is a success, (albit it might still have some flaws and kinks to work out), it will go away.

I garantee that People will be there to oppose it and try to shut it down. Now is the time to take a few minutes, give your 2 minute statement of support.

If you absolutely can't show up. PLEASE take a few minutes to send your support for this cougar program by email to "commission@dfw.wa.gov"

Be polite consise and direct, Let them know that using dogs to manage cougars is the only effective tool. Ask them to continue to support it.

PM me for details if you can make it. I would like to make sure that we get some face time with the commission.
