Hey everyone was wondering where I should move. I'm graduating in year and want to move to the east side of the statte, because I can't take the rain anymore, and there is more hunting oppertunity over there, so I was wondering what towns I should look at.I just want to rent a place. Also perferbly somewhere with a good coon population thanks.

best bet is to move to oregon or idaho or somewhere in wa that is really close to either border. but hell anywhere beats that side of the state

I agree, if I were to do it again I never would have settled in this state. Idaho would be my first choice, then any other rocky mt state. Washington will only get worse over time, the WDFW contemplated taking away night hunting less than a year ago.

If your looking for a decent coon population and your dead set on staying in WA then you'd probably do the best around the Palouse River or down near the Snake River and some of its tributaries. But I'm like the other guys, always looking for an opportunity to leave WA. Probably the most hound hunter UNfriendly state in the Union!

thanks to ALL you guys making me feel good about moving here a few years ago. I've have actually been thinking of somewhere else to go. California even seems to have better hound hunting than here. Their gun laws suck though, that's why I won't move back. I need sun!! I need freedom for my hounds and guns.

just come cross country. try western north carolina. every pick up here comes standard with a dog box and the wildlife builds us really nice shooting ranges.

Dog box with every PU, eh? Sounds pretty good. How's the humidity over there? Anything like Shreveport, LA? I thought I was tough and could deal with the heat, so I tried living in North LA for a bit and after 1 summer I was ready to leave.
