field trials

The first field trial will usually be held 2 or 3 weeks after coon season ends march 15. and there is usually a field trial or water race at least once a month till we can run in the woods again in September. A good place to check for upcoming events would be the Washington State Hound Council web site.

http://www.houndcouncil.com

Im not sure were your located but joining the closest hound club to ya would give you all the info your looking for

There is a Washington State Coonhound Association FT/NH/BS in Yelm this saturday the 13th. Then again in Yelm saturday January 24th. Here is a little something off the flyer I got:

Washington State Coonhound Assoc.
December UKC 12/13/08
FT 1PM, BS 3PM, NH 8PM $10 entry each.
From north or southbound, off WA-507 halfway between Yelm, WA. and Rainier, WA.
Turn at the second Koeppen Rd, bear right and turn in first driveway on the right. Signs posted.
12121 Koeppen Road, Yelm WA 98597

It is $15 for a single membership $20 for a family to have your dues paid and become a member of the WSCA. Ask for Libby our club secretary once your there.
ATTENTION!! WASHINGTON/OREGON RESIDENTS: Interested in attending coonhound events in your area? Visit the Washington State Coonhound Association website @ http://www.wscaonline.com

Thanks, Dustin for spreading the word. I just came on to try and get the word out :)

To clarify, you do not have to be a member of WSCA to participate in this weekend's events. Your dog does have to be UKC registered. The FT in the summer are not all UKC, so non-registered dogs can participate.

The hound council site is great because it has all the FT/WR in Washington. It doesn't have UKC stuff, I don't think. For all the events WSCA is having go to http://wscaonline.com/

Look forward to seeing ya'll, Dustin and Carl and hope you, Bookem, can make it too.
