Didn't you draw a couple years ago.. I think you have someone on the inside! Laura had 4 or 5 points and still didn't get drawn.

I've been selected 3 times out of 6. However before I get toooooo excited I don't know if I got drawn for a hound permit or one of the boot hunts, I put in for two of each. So it may not be all THAT!

I'm willing to bet those boot hunts might be close to 100% success rates... So that's probably what happened...

I got selected just waiting to see what area I got drawn for. I got a buddy who got drawn. This is the second time he's gotten drawn in 4 years.

No luck here either. The boy and I both got skunked, maybe one of these years.

I got selected for a useless permit, Boot hunt for 1-31 Dec in Stevens/P.O. I'm done, dogs are for sale.

Don't give up now. If you got drawn for that hunt you put the wrong hunt numbers in. It will cost you in the long run when you decide to get back into hounds again.

That's my thinking, I didn't even apply this year. Why have a dog that will tree cats and get selected every 5 years; what a racket.
