I have house trained all my when they are pups in case the situation comes up where they get cut up by a bear and need some clean rest to recover and making them kid friendly. I think they enjoy being outside having room to run.

This was from a previous post off of this site. I have made 3 this summer and they work well. Plan on insulating them soon before the snow starts flying

Pack of all females.

I need some help from more experienced guys here. I'm thinking of keeping my pack to all females. I would like some thoughts on pros and cons. I would be keeping them all kennelled together and having about 4 hounds. Thanks.

Only real difference I saw was him just not wanting to get out of his do house and into the kennel. I wouldn't have caught it but my hounds were due for rabbies vaccination so I took them to my vet and she does blood work for lymes and other things.

Positive for Anaplasma

One of my hounds tested positive for anaplasma. What I know about it is that it is a tick born disease and I am treating it with doxycycline. Anybody know any more. Didn't get to run him much this winter due to selling my home so I couldn't tell if it had any effects with him tracking. Trying to get ...

My brothers first bear. Both of us had our sons there. Ages 5 and 6. Both made it to the kill site and were very excited. Great experience for my brother and I to share together and very special to share with our sons.

Physical attributes

What physical attributes determine which pup to pick out or which ones you are going to keep out of a litter?
