todd aultman from michigan
Hello,
I am looking to talk to Todd Aultman again. I go by Big Bite here and am from Michigan. My cell is 616-690-1948. It has been a couple years ago when we spoke but we both have some similar walker blood and I would like to catch up with him again but not having much luck on a phone number ...

any one with an extra hunt to sell
Do to Michigan cutting bear permits by a third, I have some time to hunt for myself. What do you have available?
Really like a moose or mountain goat, but antelope, mule deer or elk would work, even consider white tail. Wolf or lynx would be good to but these are usually winterish.

Not any better but different here in Michigan. Lost most to all our snow in the lower penisula last night to a thunder storm. Yes, thunder-lightning and a bunch of rain. Mother nature is a fical woman. lol

Guy on the left shot this one on Wednesday out of a tree. Put another in a log-slabwood pile on saturday. Waiting on snow again.

Re: Bobcat Question
I agree with Twist, not all lion dogs are bobcats dogs.
I would also suggest trying each one individually and see if they both do the same thing on there own.
I have been fortunate to have hunted 3 REALLY GREAT bob cat dogs in my time. Really great bob dogs will hold there head up and fly when ...

Re: Michigan hunters
only been out a few times because of conditions. Had a couple opportunities but the shooter didn't get the deed done.
Had a first for me this last weekend. We had a little bear come be bopping out of the swamp while we where chasing a cat around.
Haven't went to UP yet.

Re: bears 50 me 11 whats going on
You asked for opinions/ideas so here is mine.
If you haven't been to the vet yet then my guess is that you don't have any of your dogs even getting close enough to bite the bear. No teeth in a bear, usually means not many bears in a tree.
Remember everyone has an oppinion - right or wrong
Need to ...

Re: Michigan U.P. snow condition
Not looking like very good conditions for the opener anywhere in Michigan to me. Maybe better for next week.
I kind of feel like someone told me that Christmas is going to be delayed a couple days due to warm weather and rain.

Re: Bloodhound as a cat dog?
Just have to put her in the woods and put some time in. One old timer once told me about bear hunting, all of them hounds have ability to catch one but it depends on how bad they want to. Some dogs really want to and others would rather lay around and make turds.
Not much on turd makers.

Re: Michigan Bear Hunting Info.
Michigan is an interesting state.
Just like anything there is always parts you agree with and parts you don't.
Regarding hunting and getting tags.
There is no doubts that the draw system has greatly increased our bear population.
If you go on line you can get stats on your chance of drawing a ...

Re: spring runs in michigan
I have burned lots of gas and found nothing. Kinda gave up looking in the spring. April 15 comes around way to soon. I understand having the bug to give it a try though with all this warm weather.
Fortunately I have been working too.
Hey, have you seen the proposal by the DNR to change the way ...

Re: Spring Bear!!!!!
you guys are killing me. I have been blessed to hunt in Utah's spring season a number of years and it is high on my list of fun things to do. Hung out with a guide bud of mine last year for a week. We treed 10 bears in 7 days. Doesn't look like it is in the cards for this spring but it sure is good ...

yup and witnesses and the mount in my buddies home.
Sad part is I found it one morning and got snowed out from hunting it and had to go home for work. My buddy smoked it the next morning. The cat left a track bigger than a pepsi can circle. My buddy still likes to rub me about the deal. :D ...
