Re: NC foxes/coyotes
Ranger, I live on the east coast and I hunt fox/bobcats and I also hunt coyotes. I have a pack of dogs for each. My cat and fox dogs don't mess with the yotes and my yote dogs don't mess with fox or cats... I have just started yote hunting since Dec. of this year and I went out west and got some ...

Re: bobcat vs grey fox
I run both here in NC! I love a grey fox race because the race last longer! They don't go up trees much here just once in a while. During the winter months when scenting conditions are down cat races are more likely....If the temp. rises above 65 degrees a grey fox race is hard to beat!! During the ...

Re: Running dogs
What kind of country you hunt?? I purchased me a few coyote dogs from Illinois about a month ago and it has taken a little while for them to get use to my thick country... They were use to the wind hitting them in the face now the brush and briars hit them.... but they are getting better and I am ...

Bean patch Kitty!
I pulled up at the hunting club to run some young fox in the green soybeans. There was a few fox tracks up and down the path and the mutts acted like they could smell them a little. This morning was the coolest we have had since last winter, with the wind blowing about 10 mph out of the NNE with ...

Re: Just wanted to say hello
Because here in NC the humidity stays around 20 to 30 percent on them cold dry days... Not like Florida, yall have humidity about everyday... If our temp will reach around 60 degrees in the winter we may have enuff humidity to run a grey fox and and the dogs can get under him instead of just ...

Re: Just wanted to say hello
Yep.. You got me by 10 years on the age... I started running grey fox when I was 12 and rabbits before that... Cat's is my passion but I love to run the fox as well especially during the "green beans season" and on occasions during the winter when the temp heats up to 60 or above degrees I will put ...

Re: 220 wont turn on
I have a 220 that does the same....What I have to do is take the battery in and out and wiggle it around while mashing the on button then it will power up... Don't know what to do to fix it but I only have it for a back up system and loan it to someone that is hunting with me so they can keep up ...
