Houndn'em 4/17 bear

Post by houndnem »

went out this weekend, but the bears in our spot are still sleepin. I did manage to rig and catch a kid in a gorilla suit with bear scent all over him. we dressed him, scented him, and had him walk across the road and clear to the bottom of the canyon where he climbed a tree. we riged the dogs up and headed to the top. when they blew up, we let them go and they trailed and treed. those dogs had no Idea it wasn't a bear,we had to drag them back to the Image

it would probably be the first time those dogs fought a bear that threw combos and kicks just like ufc. if it was me in the suit would probably be the first time they heard one scream like a girl too

We dropped him off ontop of the mountain and had him walk down close to the lower road so it would be easy to get the dogs back to the truck. I'm not braggin my dogs up for having caught a dude in a suit anyway. it was just a funny way to get some of the young dogs going while we wait for snow to melt and real bears to come out. sorry if it bruised your ego trigger happy. nobodies dogs could be as cool as yours. is that what you want to hear? and by the way if you click and look at a full size pic thats not the road in the pic. we were couple hundred yards from the road.

Houndnem, i thought that was a great idea.....so we decided to do the same thing but it didn't turn out the way yours did. We couldn't even catch a turned out gorilla.......lol get our butts kicked all the time.

Thanks for the laughs and awesome idea.

take care, jason

That's too cool. If I was in the suit I would be afraid someone would think I was a Bigfoot and take me out. I always wanted to do that when I was a kid, dress up in a monkey suit and cross the road in a cars headlights to make them think they had just seen a Bigfoot. But luckily God saw to it that I lived past 15 and I always chickened out. In my prideful defence, I did grow up in east texas. There is no telling what would have happened. Later Kiel
