cobalt,
First, you avoid responding to my point where I pointed out your mistaken assertion that radar had only posted threads and/or pictures of caught coons on the ground...go figure. Instead, you resort to sarcasm as your only means of response. Just for the heck of it, you ought to look up the psychology behind sarcasm, as I think it is quite illustrative in your case.
Second, you are in desperate need of a lesson on what "hipocracy" actually is. First, the spelling is "hypocrisy", not "hipocracy". Second, you are misusing the meaning of the word. So that you don't have to believe me, please note the definition of the word as indicated on dictionary.com..."The practice of professing beliefs, feelings, or virtues that one does not hold or possess; falseness.
I provided absolutely no commentary regarding illegal or immoral behavior, nor made reference to 30 raccoons. Rather, I commented on the extent to which the act of killing so many coon and posting pictures of them would be helpful to the agenda of the antis. As such, your point is entirely irrelevant.
To address your feigned certainty, yes, I would offer the same word of caution to anyone else posting so many pictures of so many dead animals at once. Even if I wouldn't, this is not really an example of hypocrisy, but rather, plain old inconsistency. Hypocrisy would be condemning radar for posting pictures of so many dead coons, but then posting pictures of so many dead coons myself.
I am unaware of any similarly questionable material from Redwood Coonhounds, as I do not visit people's galleries. Note also that my comments stem from this post and no other reason.
Hypocrisy is when you don't practice what you preach. If you look through my previous posts, you will find no indication that I kill every coon or everything I catch nor will you find pictures of lots of dead animals. Now that I have demonstrated a lack of hypocrisy on my part, rest assured that I will sleep quite well.

I'm sure they've never done anything illegal or immoral in the training of their dogs and have never harvested over 30 raccoons in any given year

...I'm sure when any questionable/debatable photos come up on this site, they are the first to "offer a word of caution"

as I'm sure they have cautioned Redwood Coonhounds as she has similarly questionable material in her gallery and it is not an attack on radar from a debate on another post.

So sleep well and know that never in any part of your postings on radars thread, you would be guilty of any hipocracy. I commend you.

Re: Went out to day.........
RIFLEMAN, thank you for correcting me. Sorry to have caused undue strife.
Re: Went out to day.........
grouse,
No, it was no trouble at all. You guys make it too easy.
Do me a favor and point out the part of my comments where I called you a liar.
I'm not talking about nor concerned with what other hunters think when they see comments and pictures on the site. I am concerned with how the antis (who already outnumber us) will use it and how the non-hunters will react when they see it. News flash, grouse...houndsmen aren't the only ones who visit this site. If you don't care or think it matters how antis market their ideas or what non-hunters think, then I don't think I can help you, as it will take someone with a medical degree and a couch to get you to see the reality of our situation. By, "our" I do not mean just California's houndsmen or even houndsmen in general. Do I really have to remind you of the loss of hound hunting via the will of the voters of Colorado, Oregon, Washington, and Massachusetts? What about the loss of trapping, dove hunting, mountain lion hunting, and airborne hunting in various states? While you were trying to be insulting with the reference to Oprah, you actually made an important reference-albeit unintended; Oprah has power. The Oprah Fan Base shows up at the polls to vote...moreso than the hunting community does. If you don't think that Oprah matters, I suggest that you find out what happened to beef prices after Oprah said, "I've eaten my last hamburger." It caused so much harm, cattlemen felt compelled to file a lawsuit against her.
What the heck are you even talking about here? And what statements are you referring to?
Yes, I was giving you a pass for making the assumption that I am not active in the effort to protect and promote houndhunting in California. You would be wrong to do so, and I will say that my efforts go just a tad bit beyond writing a letter. But if you insist and actually want me to expose your stupidity of making this assumption, just say the word.
Rifleman, you must have had a long easter weekend to think up all this stuff.or maybe in a partial diabetic coma from eating to much candy. Hope it did'nt give you a headache !
No, it was no trouble at all. You guys make it too easy.
I AM NO LYER ! Your calling me a LYER prove it Einstein !
Do me a favor and point out the part of my comments where I called you a liar.
guess what the majority of the guy's on here i don't think it bothers if it does maybe you should watch Oprah instead of getting on this websight.

Apparently your not aware who does what there or you would'nt be makeing such pussy type statements .
What the heck are you even talking about here? And what statements are you referring to?
Your gonna give me a pass ? I should be carefull about my assumptions in the future ? Sounds like a threat to me !So i say GAME ON ! Bring it on tough guy ! Like i said before if you would write your elected officials and bitch to them about your hunting privileges being taken away instead of bitching about the way a guy hunts you would be better off

Re: Went out to day.........
grouse,
So, you failed to find where I called you a liar...maybe you can do better by finding where I called you stupid.
For the life of me, i can't find any "big" word in my response to you. I was merely using the English language in its appropriate form. You ought to try it some time.
I don't spend a lot of time on this site; that's why.
Again, I honestly don't know what words you are referring to that are supposedly so sophisticated. I never felt that it was necessary to dumb down my verbiage for you or anyone else on here, but apparently, I assumed incorrectly in your case. One more thing...since you don't know me and I don't know you, and we will never ever meet, why would I honestly care how smart you think I am or am not. I am not on this site nor offering my comments on this topic as a way of trying to impress you or anyone else.
First, if this was truly the case, I would have pointed out that you misspelled the word, "liar" when you wrote, "lyer" in your previous post. Secondly, how would pointing out the mistakes of others make me smarter? Logic would dictate that by pointing out your mistakes, I am actually making you smarter. In that spirit, I offer you the following lessons:
"Your" is possessive. You meant to write, "You're" as in, "You are."
When calling someone by their name or by any other name (derogatory or not), the name should be preceded with a comma.
"Houndsman" is singular. You should have used, "houndsmen" to mean more than one.
The contraction of "should not" is actually, "shouldn't" and there's that pesky, "houndsman" instead of "houndsmen" again.
Again, the contraction of, "you are" is, "you're."
You probably meant, "houndsmen" in this case, too, but it is technically permissible to use the singular form when it is used generically.
Once more, the contraction should be, "you're."
The words are, "referring" and, "status."
Oh, by the way, let me know if you want me to point out the missing or inappropriately used punctuation, run-on sentences, etc.
Now, can we please get back to the actual topic at hand, or do you want to continue to call me names like, "idiot" and, "moron" only to have them thrown back in your face with your own words?
now your calling me stupid

Rifleman, I'm just curious, are you related to Larry or ike? They like to attack and stir up discontent also. I'm not attacking here, just trying to sort out who's who.

Re: Went out to day.........
Rifleman , now i know why i had to take that english class two years in a row , luckily for me there was a nerd in there like you i could cheat off of or i'd still be there . Remember just because you and your boyfriend like to hide your gerbils in different parts of your body orfices and have your poodles find them don't make you a houndsman or would that be houndsmen ? hmmm?? I am a moron and an idiot, my mother called me that all the time so i just accepted the fact .I'm still waiting to here your great answer about the micro management stuff , and the great stuff you've done for your sport , now i know my verbage and spelling ain't right but what do you expect from a Pennsylvania hillbilly ? You can do all you want to make me look dumb and it don't take much ,i do that pretty much on my own , so like i said i'm still waiting your answer on your great contributions to the sport , just remember gerbil hunting is not a sport !! and neither is milk chuggin !
