I need some info please

I was wondering what this Hal Mecham guy had. Was it english? and what kind of dogs did he breed? thanks for the help guys and gals.

What kind of dogs? Good ones! My buddy got a mecham pup that looks redbone bloodhound like. I've seen redtick lookin ones too but I'm not the expert I just know they are the real deal.

Not sure of the breed of Hal's dogs but they are some top notch dogs. If you are looking to buy one, it will be money well spent!

I've met hal mecham, i don't think he runs a certain breed of dogs, i like the shit out of him, but don't know him all that good, from what i hear he's got some way good dogs, but i've never hunted with him, seen him at the field trails they have down here and he don't do too bad, but running a drag and running a bear or lion is two different things.

ok. How do I get ahold of him if I wanted to get something from him? Thanks to the guys that have written me back. I assume that they are good dry grounders? That might be a stupid question.LOL!

hal hunts a bunch of red an white dogs thats crossed up wit a little bit of everthing if you go back far enough you cant go wrong with a red an white dog from hal

well hal mecham has good dogs but mclain mecham has on of a the greatest breeds.

Ya know thats all I hear around this site is Hal Mecham. I have called him and he has never called me back. It leaves a guy wondering what kind of dogs he really has. Yeah I am a little sore becuase my expectations are when I call someone I expect them to call me back. I do that to people who call me and I expect it back in return especially if you are a respected breeder. I do apologize for those people that like this line I am not bashing them in any way. I can't becuase I have never seen them hunt.

I started the post to this link above because I never heard Hal Mecham's name mentioned on this board, yet others younger then him or people he's known and hunted with are mentioned all the time. Personally I don't know if Hal even has any dogs or pups for sale, as he has been hit pretty hard lately on sales. Hal is gone bear hunting right now and he doesn't answer the phone, but you might try him back a day or two after season is over. I won't say anymore but if you are interested you can read the post link above. In his prime, I doubt any of us alive today (or those gone to their rewards) would be any tougher on a lion track. Hal is now over sixty and still goes down a lion track afoot if that tells you anything.............
