Wildlife changeable battery collars are quality stuff.I have 5 of them that I have owned for 10 years without a single problem.I change batteries about twice a year.Get yourself a cheapo $5 battery tester so you can test the battery occasionally to see how much life is left in it.
Re: collar style?
I have the Tracker Strike Collars that uses the 3.6v lithium ion batteries and I like how they work.
Is there a battery tester for the 3.6v AA?

Re: collar style?
I like the batteries that are sealed no need to test them 16,000 hours or two years of use, I have some collars from west coast telm. that are 20 years old two battery changes in 20 years i like that. i have had some others but i like the stuff from west coast... wildlife collars have a good signal... I just don't like to change batteries...
