I know alot of you Utah guys and Montana guys know Brent Thurgood.Brent had a heart attack yesterday and died.
Brent grew up in Utah and ran Hounds most of it. Later moved to Colorado and guided for Rick Shroder in Grand Junction.
Brent loved the hounds and demanded a good one. Brent was one of my best freinds and will be greatly missed. Rest in peace my Freind.

Re: Loss of a great Houndsman
Brent did run Redbones for many years and his favorite was a dog named Dan. He made Dan a NiteChamp when he was feild trialing back in the days.
Kevin the Obituarie will be out tomorow. I talked to his Daughter and she told me that he could be looked up on Brentthurgood@blogspot.com , I haven't been able to find him on there yet, so if anyone finds it please post it.
Brent pasted away in his sleep and was at home when it happened.
Here is a picture of him with the Schroder family

Re: Loss of a great Houndsman
I knew Brent pretty good about 20 years ago when he used to come up to the Idaho Field Trials. He was a great guy, and always had some top Redbones.
Sorry to hear about this.
