I think the material on the Garmin may be a little too thick to get the receivers slid on there. I have done this with regular Quick Trac collars on the coated poly collars and it works ok, but it can be difficult to get them arranged so it hangs correctly on the dog's neck. I have a friend here who takes the tracking unit completly off and then starts with a new collar and then pop rivets the Tri Tronic receiver in place and then adjust so the tracking receiver hangs properly. Pretty sharp when you get it right and easy just slap one collar on the dog and you are good to go. But I don't know how it would work with a GPS collar.

No need to fit everything onto one collar, we just need dogs with longer necks!
