just getting into hound hunting

i live in ca in yuba sutter area i got a year old bluetick who im trying to train for coon and bear but i have nobody to hunt with i was hoping to tag along

Welcome to the site. Hope you enjoy.Dont be afraid to hunt that dog buy yourself if you cant find some one to hunt with.Just do your best to keep it off of bad game.Get out in the snow or dusty roads depending on where you live so you can see what it is chasing.If its a good dog you might be surprised how good it might do alone.Better if you can find someone close buy to hunt with.But better hunting it alone than tied up at home.Good luck,Larry

Come on out and meet some local houndsmen on the 6th, I don't do much coon hunting my self and bear seasons a ways off but there will be some coon hunters at the meeting.
