HOW MANY HAVE GROWN KIDS THAT STILL HUNT?
Just wondering how many of you have grown kids that still hunt dogs. If not what do you think happened? An example. I know a guy that is a huge hound hunter. Hunts any and every chance he gets. By the time his boy was 6 months old he had already been to a crazy amount of bear trees. No however he is grown and will occasionaly hunt with his dad but its like he lost interest. Just looking for your thoughts to try and keep my 8 yr old hound crazy.

For my kids, work gets in the way. Since I don't think it would fare them well not to earn thier own living, they have to hold down a job. Most of my hunting has always been when everyone else was at work, so that naturally counts my kids out as well.

all you can do is keep taking them and hope they like it! its just like sports, or music they either love it or don't! all you can do is expose them to it and see if the fever takes root!
