does cronks breaking sents really work or is it hus a waste of money

I kinda took the same theory and tried it. after the deer hunt I kept a hide and every day I would mall that dog and chase it and do whatever I could to make it run whenever it smelled the hide. I would also put an e collar on him and when he would go sniff I would zap him. he chased deer till the day he died.

For breaking and training a beach towel left in a live trap or sleeping area of the animal of choice. Use rubber gloves and put the towel in a plastic bag until used.
Using both is a good method until it clicks in their brain on what they suppose to do.
Use the towel on what you want them to chase more often than the towel used to correct.

Use walk with wicks cage..if he's that bad.

Have used Cronks in the years gone by..
of all the so called breaking scents, Cronks has been the only one that ever got any results.. BUT>>> wait until the weather is decent so you will not smother the dog. build a box with a good door and only a small breathing hole... confine that sucker to it AT LEAST a week. take the bugger out to feed, drink and eliminate and stuff it back in.---pour a liberal amount in the breathing hole
after about 3-4 days you will notice that it has got a lot harder to stuff him back in...but keep pouring that scent in ever day and maybe a little twice a day...and be sure to get the large bottle for each dog..
some dogs can be broke this way--- some cannot
the Wick type breaking box works better but you dang sure have to get the real glands--- from a road kill.

SOME dogs will never be broke..
