maine houndsmen looking to tag along on a bear hunt.

i am looking for some one to tage along with for a few weekends or so. would like to get a taste of bear hunting with hounds. i hunt coon but would like to see if i like bear hunting. if any one needs a leash handler let me now. some were near central maine would be good. i live 2 hours from bangor thanks alot dont care if its trainging or hunting let me know

hi josh it's coydawg what part of maine do u live in , i live in waldo my son and i trying to do the same thing u are we have a couple of young dogs were going to break on coon then switch over to bear and cat i've coon hunted for 35 yrs in mass just get started up here . we bear bait so i think what were going to do is just bring the pups on to a hot bait and see what happens if you'd like give me your number when we do we could give u a call . there 's a web site that a lot of maine hounds men use that a hunter from maine started it's http:// houndsofmaine.allforum.net try that too see if u can get someone too tag along with we also hunt beagles if you'd like too come along . thanks coydawg
