new guy from oregon. my 2 kids read "the book" in 4th grade and decided they wanted hound pups for their birthday last year. so i called around and a guy i knew had some walker pups. i always wanted to do it too so i got 2 pups. they are 14 months old now and doing great. cant wait for season to start. never posted before figured might as well get the ball rolling. this site is the best. lots of good info for us newbies.

Awesome to hear. I just started as well. Mines only 16 weeks though. Have you ran yours on anything yet? Just started mine last week on bobcat scent.

a friend let me follow behind him a dozen times last year. they got to walk to a treed bobcat on a leash that his older dogs ran. and he let me turn out twice into a race at the end of the season. they lost the cat both times. other than that its just been scent lines and roading for exersise twice a week all summer. and the neighbors cat when im changing pipe.
