I use 63 - 73cups (amount of dog food) a week when hunting and use 47-52 cups amount when not hunting for (how many) 3 dogs.

I feed my dogs twice a day. In hunting season, about 3 cups per dog per day with occasional dinner leftovers. This time of the year it's hot, the dogs eat less and they average about 2 to 2 1/4 cups per dog per day.

In the summer I feed Diamond Chicken & Rice which has low fat.
In the Hunting months I feed Diamond Extreme Athlete which has higher fat.

It's works for me.

I use 70 cups (amount of dog food) a week when hunting and use 56 cups (amount) when not hunting for (how many) 4 dogs.

In reality I am feeding 6 adult dogs and 3 puppies at the moment (not all hounds). I feed 40 lbs a week. They average 2-3 cups each, 1 - 1 1/2c twice a day.

I feed Sportmix Premium Energy Plus. I use a small coffee can to feed my dogs. When I am hunting the dogs they get a full can once a day, and in the off season the get 1/2 of a can once a day. That is, of course on the average. I feed my dogs according to thier individual needs, and adjust the amount accordingly. I used to feed Diamond High Energy, but the good deal that I was getting went south, so I switched. The labels of these two feeds read the same, but the Sportmix seems to be better for the dogs. Since I changed to the Sportmix, the turds (or poopies  ) turn white and aren't as nasty. I buy my dog feed a ton at a time to get the best deal possible. I have been considering building a refrigerated building to store butcher scraps in. In the past I have fed butcher scraps, and the dogs did outstanding.

Right now I am feeding 12 dogs.

I feed very similar to you benny about a 1/2 a plastic coffee can to each adult when they are not hunting and around a full can when they are busting thier butts. The pups get an auto feeder unless they are in specific training to prevent the twisted gut issue. About 50 pounds a week when they are laid up and a whole lot more when they are hunted.

they belong to two of us, we had another 12 that were deer hounds but that fella has his own place to keep them now, we get butcher scraps free and sometimes the day old bread from the bread distributer for free, that helps a little

I use 70 cups per week (2 cups per day per dog) when not hunting and 105 cups when hunting (3 cups per day per dog) and that is for 5 dogs.. That is give or take. Some dogs take only a half cup increase in the winter, some a little more then a cup..

I feed the Kirkland dog food.. In the summer I mix it with Purina Dog Chow.. In the winter they get just the Kirkland...

I go thru about 100 pounds of dog food a month.. and that is including the 2 house dogs..
