Turning tree switch off Marshall collars

Looked on their site but can't find anything about turning off the tree switch on the Marshall PowerMax collars. Seems they would say something for the Calif guys

If the collar has a tree switches it can't be turned off. However, you can order them without the tree switches. I have five of them I used all last year and so far, so good. Its especially nice that they use AA batteries.

I emailed the seller and they said they will disable it when they set the channels
