utah coon hunters

hey everybody!
i live out in eagle mountain and lookin for some area close by to run some coon. can someone point me in the right direction. where do most of you guys go?

I am a little farther north but we have ran alot down in payson by the river, salina area those are the closet to you i know of lots up north but gotta get something in return for those.

dont run coons very much but when I do I go to the jordan river in Lehi along the river trail. I seem to tree about 5 or 6 a night

there is going to be an open coon dog trials rite by there on april fourth fifth and sixth i believe. it would be a good place to meet people and learn about places. the utah houndsmen websight wound give you all the details.

Run the west side of Utah Lake. Treeing a coon is the exception not the rule. Most will bay up or swim out in the lake and try to drown your dogs. It sure is exciting though! If you dogs are rigging coons just drive that paved road by the lake and they'll blow up pretty quick.
