Just a word of caution, An ear infection WILL burst the ear drum causing permanent defness without proper treatment. The vet ASAP would be my recommendation.

I talked to my vet and HE told me what to do. I viewed deep in his ears with scope and there is no swelling or redness inside, I have worked side by side with my vet on several emergency calls for the past nine years and with his help and some education he suggested I am very aware what constitutes an emergency vet visit. We have already administered steroids and I found my animal sciences books from my college years. Thankyou all the ones who tried to help. God Bless. P.S. Hope to see some of you guys an gals at the Johnstown Ohio Swappers Days.
