tree sadie the boys downeast said thats all you can do is look for bobcat tracks as you dont even have a dog worth running one ! i believe them as they are good honest folks . keep your eyes peeled in those open barrens that way you wont need a track and can let your potlickers sight chase them cause thats the only way you can hunt down there according to you.its funny that every time i hunted down there i ended up in jack fir thickets so thick that sometimes you couldnt go forward through and your feet arent touching the ground because your standing on firs . not to mention the poplar whips and great heath. ive killed a few bear down there with just me and the dogs so dont tell me my dogs are to slow to catch as there was no army.

Oh no's, I better go out right now and shoot my potlickers cause the "Army" says so, lol, they don't know me, or my dogs. Just tell em to stay away from Pea Ridge cause there aint no yotes or cats there. I'm not gonna argue with ya anymore kordog, I already told you I never said your dogs were slow or junk. U take 15 guys, find a track, put dogs on said track, get it jumped, completely suround piece of woods game is in, when he comes out, he is getting shot. End of story. Could be done with poodles. Not how I prefer to hunt, but like I said, to each thier own. Once again, just cause those guys are killing yotes, don't mean the dogs are catching. I have seen it and heard it. It sounds like a war. Word is, some have even shot thier own dogs by mistake there is so much lead flying around. Also, I never said anything about sight chasing. That was between you and the running dog guys, although every running dog I have seen, which isn't many, was alot faster than any treehound. You don't have to tell me about jack firs, alders and swamps. Its where I hunt. Anyway, I got dogs to finish tuning up for Monday morning, and you can bet your ass, they won't be sight chasing on the barrens, and there won't be no "Army" around to make sure he don't get away when the dogs can't get it done. lol. Have a nice day, enjoy your bear season, and don't get lost in all those jack firs, or stuck in the Great heath. I am done with this thread.

Lol, grouse, thats too funny. By the way kordog, you don't necessarily need a treedog for cats either, as probably 90 percent of the cats in Maine are shot on the ground, not out of a tree, and thats a fact.

they never said that! i just wanted you to know how it felt to have your hunting and dogs ridiculed . not very pleasant is it . especially when you have worked as hard as i have to make sure people get quality hounds.you really need to see dogs in action before you can honestly pass judgement . it was no more fair of me to talk about your hounds than it was for you to say the lead is doing all the catching.its funny people keep coming back to me for hounds over many years . i have to assume im doing something right or they would be going elsewhere. enough said ....
