bear are tuff in my neck of the woods need more heat
Bears have been beatin me up this year been in the game a long time but only chasin bears for six or seven years started off in montana and could only chase bobcats and lion. moved back to where I was born New Mexico and slowly got in to bears so I could work my dogs more. put up a couple this year but last couple days of the first season took a toll on my pack had a smokin hot black and tan bitch get knocked off a cliff by a big boar and and the day before that I had a walker bluetick rig dog get chewed up by another but he's healing well.

Welcome to the bear hunting game. I average loosing one dog a year, running bear. As your learning, the dogs have a tougher career, then when they were running cats. In the last two weeks, four dogs were hurt, two out for the rest of the year. A few rough bear can put you out of business in a hurry, especially during training season. We got these bear trained real good this year. Kill season is 9 days away, cant wait to even some scores. LOL
