I live in CA and a friend and i were driving the last day of the bear season in the high country and photographed quite a few big bucks. We came upon a big buck track and it was fallowed by a giant cat sized dog track. We drove down the road a little further and saw one huge Wolf. Not sure if it was a pet or wild but it didnt have a collar on it. Guess i should have shot it and asked questions later. Damn big coyotes chasing our bucks off.haha

Yup, Tis True, Many local domestic critters have been and are slatted for the Wolves winter meals. Seems as if Anchorage has truly gone to the wolves. With the low snow year and absolutely NO MOOSE ( Thank You to the Lousy Elected Management Official Idiots Who We Pay to Make Alaska the MOOSE SUPERBOWL and they give us a WOLF SUPERBOWL). Sneaky Assed Democrats in Sheeps clothing and Alaskans are so stupid we continue to let them Manage our wildlife - yep right into our backyards, or Hell our frontyards. Yes frontyards, because next the poor hungry wolves, who are just part of nature are gonna catch a little kid !! We have a local talk radio 650am Rick Ridell (I think is his name) who has been doing a great job (I listen to him on the way to work in the morning) of trying to educate the TOTAL IDIOTS who have not a clue; and I mean all the way from Joe and Susie who are new to Alaska to the Grandfathered into Politics assholes who have outright ruined our hunting in this state. Rick Ridell challenged the State, that he and a couple of his friends would happily bring this pack of wolves in over their shoulders and when he does he wants their jobs - of course we know the chicken shit politicians are too busy in Hawaii. Rick Ridell has also been reading gory details of written stories of Wolves eating Humans. Mean while I am gonna read up a bit on some details ( one neighbor told me of a dog being eaten just up the road by us) then I'm print off a bunch of flyers with the WARNING WOLVES may EAT YOUR KID IN YOUR DRIVEWAY or SLEDDING in the BACKYARD !! and then drive all around and post them on the rows of mailboxes as my way of sharing the love of GOD and doing my job to try to save a kid.

If you've ever seen a wolf and hadn't shot it your not a hunter but a bunny hugger in disguise.
That idiot that shot 2 wolves at a bear bait and squealed on hisself is definitely a moron.
Wolf tracks can fool a new tracker for sure. The 2 front nails always show but check out lots of tracks if your not sure. Wolves never have the 3 wobbles at the rear ofthe heel pad. Cats have hair around their feet so if they sink in the fresh snow the cat will leave a poofed out area around their foot while a wolf just has a bare foot. They usually run in 2 or more up to around 10 in a group. Cats are usually by theirselves but sometimes a female with kittens or tom is tagging along.
If you like your dogs more than you like wolves then you know what to do. Otherwise join the crowd of folks telling all of us about the wolves they saw. gotta git Bill
