I am fairly new to huntin hounds.I had a good friend Marv Todd that got me into hounds about 3 years ago.I now have 2 Walkers and 1 blue dog all females.They are all good pack dogs that tree hard.I am looking for a older broke dog that strikes from a rig and will locate to be used to start these dogs I have.
Never had a chance to meet Marv but I heard he was a good guy.You live in the hound capital of Idaho.Probably lots of finished bear dogs around there but not very easy to find someone that wants to part with one.Maybe Louis can fix you up. 
If I hear of any good dogs around for sale I will let you know.Bridger Petrini out of New Mexico has a 9 yr old finished bear dog that I bet is a pretty darn good dog that a guy could probably catch alot of game with but he is asking $2500.
