Post by bluedogs249 »

I am looking for a less expensive substitute for Frontline Plus for 45-60 pound dogs.
Any Ideas?

bayer tree and shrub. i use it on all my dogs. i put it on the dogs back twice a year once in the spring and once in the summer and maybe a third time if needed. it has the same main ingredient as k9 advantix and it works! i also usually spray around the dogs area twice in the summer. 10 cc in the middle of the dogs back. 5cc on smaller younger dogs.
IT AINT THA SIZE OF THA DOG IN THA FIGHT, ITS THA SIZE OF THA FIGHT IN THA DOG. http://www.dogemdownsouth.com http://dogemdownsouth.smfforfree.com

I've used the Bayer Tree & Shrub and it worked ok.. But it has always made me nervous.. Now that they have added the fertilizer.. Well.. I'm not going to use it..

I've been lucky this year and have not had a flea or tick problem.. But I have been using cedar shavings in my kennels so I wonder if that helps..

Check out this thread on Permethrin 10%... It sounds like something I would rather use then the Bayer...
