cmogi, I wouldn't let this regan guy get to you. If you look back at his post it is most likely that he is an animal rights person. He keeps pushing for everyone to go to their website. It's pretty plain to see that you are a new hound hunter and are looking for help. Once that pup gets a little older you should bring him down, we will see what we cant do about getting it started on some game. As for right now you seem to be doing a great job. He gets to run around and be a pup, and gets to explore the woods quite a bit. Keep up the good work.

Hey thanks, I will not let it get to me.
That sounds great! I was hoping to let him get to the 8 month point and then let him run with some big dogs.
I will try to get in touch with you when that time gets closer. And if you're ever hunting in siskiyou let me know!

We usually make a trip or two a year over there. You would be more than welcome to go as long as you bring that pup. It would be good for him to pack him into a bear tree and let him tree with the older dogs. And you have to bring your camera, you sure know how to take a nice photo.

I have to say that I love your pictures, they are beautiful. As for what that other guy is warning all of us about, well I cant say I dont blame him since their are many out there who are trying to put a stomp on all hunting. But I know there are true houndsmen out there and I give every one a chance until you screw with me and my rights, then its ON. I just wanted to let you know that I think you have a great gift of taking pictures and I love the fact that your subject is a cute blue tick. keep them pictures coming
I put the hick in chick.....in a good way
