Hey Guys,
I have read that we can not use Satellite tracking devices on dogs here in California. Could or would someone drop a couple of product names of devices that we can use that are worth the money.
Thanks
Joe

Re: Dog Trackers
Thanks Mike I had to read it two time thought he was looking to use the GPS here my bad.
Justaguy,
How much are you looking to spend? That is the big question, if you have the money I think that Marshall Telemetry make some of the best I have seen. I have tryed the stuff that Tracker makes and dont like the box set ups or the collars I think they are junk atleast in the country I hunt in. Wildlife make some ok boxes and Collars, I have to say if your not a rich man I really like the Quick Track collars they have always done very well for me as well as the West Coast Telemetry collars. For a box I have used Wildlife, Yaesu, Icom and the Quick Track 5000 and 6000. I have to say I love the Quick Track 6000 by far. When its use on a quickshot antenna it racks right up there as the best I have seen used by far. If your looking for a roof top antenna I would never spend the $90 they want at all of the Telemetry shops any cb base with the antenna cut down to match the mhz your running and a bnc end and your set for about half and works better then most I have tryed that came from a Telemetry shop.

Re: Dog Trackers
They are working on it and its going to be a fight I'm sure. I have not seen us gain much in this state of ours as houndsmen.
