Who says you cant hunt bear with just one dog? You just have to have the right dog! This is just one of five bears Howie treed solo this year. we actually treed about 40 bears this year with Howie and my other dogs, not bad for just hunting the weekends and being a first year newby!

i didnt kill that one, my brother did. i usually dont kill them i just take pictures. if you want to see the proof i have plenty of pictures i can send you.

check your pm, sent you some pictures of more kills, i dont really care to shoot the bears, these were killed by others on my dogs. i get the thrill of the chase, not the thrill of the kill.

thanks spruce mountain. he is deffinitely my favorite dog, me and the rest of my hounds have learned more from this dog this year than any houndsman could have taught me in this short a period of time.
