Good thing I'm not a breeder, just a dude who runs some long ears on critters. You can talk all day about this/that dog history and I could really care less. Unless the UKC world hunt happens to be the cornfield where I'm trying to get a young dog off a skunk, I'll never see it. Or any of the dogs who took part in it. If you want to get really frustrated, go buy a bunch of UKC coon bred pups (who's parents weren't big game hunted) and go try to stack up some bear, yotes or cats.Majestic Tree Hound wrote:These Lines have been drawn on Hounds since the 1500s .. I'm just usually looking for the best dog for ME to hunt in my conditions on my desired game. I could give a rat's ass what they look like if they catch better than what I've got.
