Ok I will change the question. Just getting the job done. Not necessarily doing a good job. Could be pure breeds or crosses.

My next door neighbor uses a pit for duck hunting! talk about getting strange looks at the wma lining up for the duck blind draw on opening day. She is a good dog, retrieves ducks goose and swan. she just took to it, he has three labs/lab-x's and she is probably the most consistent.

The strangest cross I've ever seen that got it done would be my Haney dog.. Catahoula/Plott/Pit/Weimeraner. More determination and grit than most dogs I know of. I'm breeding him to my Bonnie dog (Plott/Pit/Mtn.Cur/Stephens Cur) when she comes in again, so if those pups get the job done, the strangest cross I'll have ever seen get the job done would be Catahoula/Plott/Pit/Weimeraner/Mtn.Cur/Stephens Cur.
