The other night I had released a coon for the pups, it was a real hoot!
The first thing the coon did was swim the pond even though it had some nice trees to run up. My white dog swam out to get it then the coon climbed on top of his head, luckily I had my boat there so I went in to save him. When I got close to him the coon looked me in the eye and looked like he wanted in the boat bad!! I didnt know what to do so with one mighty blow I knocked him off of the dog with a leader! My dog immediately went right back after him. They were a little closer to the bank then , and he swam into the tullies where the fight was on!!!
My bluetick gave it her best to drown him by standing on him but that didnt work, he kept getting loose. Finally she grabbed him by the neck and pulled him up on land and it was all over!! Wish I would have brought the camera for this one! Also a good thing about it my little pup stood on the bank and watched the whole thing barking all the while!ImageImageImage

Right on brotha the tullies is my kind of huntin!!Carefiul with the blue dog trying to drown them like that, its how they get joint bit alot of the times and it will lead to an early retirement.Reach under the water and feel for his tail careful not to grab one of the back legs cuz the'll bite the piss out of ya! but if you grab there tail you can control it a little......
